One of the major considerations you should have when choosing a photographer is style. What is the photographer’s shooting style? Photography is very unique because every photographer has their own. Choose carefully! In this wedding gallery I have selected dozens of pictures from different weddings to showcase what my style is. You can also read more in my article: Choosing a Wedding Photographer.
All of the photos in this gallery are from weddings I’ve photographed in Oregon & Washington. Portland, Vancouver, Beaverton, Tualatin, Clackamas, Sandy, Mt. Hood, Oregon City, Bridal Veil, Columbia Gorge, Astoria, Lincoln City, Cannon Beach, Corvallis, Albany, Salem, Eugene, Silverton, Mollala and Roseburg. I’ve also photographed weddings in Hawaii all the way to Pennsylvania.
Since 1999, I have photographed over 300 weddings. I’ve seen it all. I’ve shot weddings in dark chapels to bright open skies. Sunset weddings after dark to the high noon sun blazing down. I have all the equipment and expertise to make your shots amazing! Obviously, all weddings end the same – you got married! What makes it fun is every wedding is different. You are unique, your location is unique, your personality and all the people that come to celebrate your wedding are also unique. Whether you are getting married in an old barn, your neighborhood church, a vineyard, a county park along the river, an elegant ballroom, or your backyard…I can make your pictures stand out!
Sometimes I shoot weddings at places I’ve been before, but most of the time I’m in a new spot. There are so many places to get married in Oregon and Washington! I would have to say if I were to get married all over I would recommend these locations: #1 – Bridal Veil in the Columbia Gorge. It is tucked up 3000′ above the Columbia river about 30 minutes east of Portland. The setting is absolutely gorgeous: the view of the gorge, the pristine lake, the backdrop of the ceremony, to the tall deciduous trees mixed in with the evergreens. If you are looking to get married along the gorge there are also tons of magnificent waterfalls that would make for a dramatic backdrop to your ceremony.
In Portland and the surrounding areas: Ainsworth House is pretty cool, McMenamins (there are a few), some of the local vineyards.
Albany and Corvallis area: O & L Gardens, The Garden in the Woods, Yellow Gold Farm, Vue Corvallis.
